Rebecca has worked with many writers on multiple books (both nonfiction and fiction), screenplays and pilots. She’s taught one-on-ones and small groups at the Story Summit Writer’s School and worked with private clients for over 20 years.
Why Now
Rebecca Bloom and HTWIP founder Pamela Weiss are offering this opportunity for a handful of writers in suppport the work of writer and social justice arts practitioner Constance Nicole Frierson. Constance is putting the finishing touches on her novel, The House on Union Street, about breaking the cycle of generational trauma in a Black family that migrates from the South to the Southside of Chicago. Her last step is to work with a Black developmental editor to get the piece in shape for publication. All proceeds of these sessions will go to the final edit of The House on Union Street before it goes out to agents and publishers.
